Three killed as truck hits e-rickshaw

Bahraich (UP): Three persons were killed and

four others injured when a speeding truck rammed into a stationary e-rickshaw on the Nanpara-Rupiyadeeh road here, police said today.

The victims were in the e-rickshaw when the truck hit it from behind near Hada Basehri village yesterday, killing a 10-year-old boy on the spot, SP Sabharaj Singh said.

Two others succumbed to injuries in a hospital, the SP said, adding the injured have been admitted to the district hospital.

A case has been registered and a hunt was on for the truck driver, the SP added.
