Three years pass since Trasi mishap

Kundapur: Three years have passed since the occurrence of the tragic accident along NH 66 when a private bus hit an omni car which was transporting school children and claimed the lives of 8 children. The accident took place on June 21^st.

Currently, four laning work is being undertaken here and yet, no safety measures have been implemented at Movadi cross, where the mishap had taken place.

The accident took place at around 9:15 am on June 21^st 2016. The lives of 8 students from Don Bosco English Medium School were lost. Four laning work between Kundapur-Byndoor is in progress here yet no safety measures have been taken yet at Movadi cross where vehicles attempt U-turn. The failure to take any safety measures here has left an open invitation for the occurrence of even more possible accidents leaving the people terrified here.
