Tired of unwanted replies on Twitter? New feature help users limit who can reply to tweets

Twitter has introduced a new feature in which the users can limit who can reply to their tweets.

In the new feature, the users will have three options for users to choose who can reply to their posts, everyone, only people they follow or only people mentioned by them.

Prior to this, Twitter had the only option for everyone.

Speaking about this, Director of Product Management Suzane Xie said, “Everyone will be able to use these settings so that unwanted replies don’t get in the way of meaningful conversation.”

“These settings will help people feel safe and could lead to more meaningful conversations,” she added.

The new feature is introduced keeping in mind public personalities, politicians, actors, and journalists.  This will also help unwanted responses on social media.
