Mysuru: Infant dies after swallowing remote battery

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a one-and-a-half-year-old child died after accidentally swallowing a remote battery in Mysuru here,

The incident took place on August 31 when the child Hemant Maniraj was playing at his home. His parents rushed him to KR hospital for treatment after he accidentally swallowed the battery.

However, the infant passed away today morning without responding to treatment.

A case has been registered at the Nazarabad police station.
