Tollgate employee smashes front glass of car injuring woman occupant

Bantwal: In an untowardly incident, a woman occupant of a car sustained injuries after an employee of the Brahmarakotlu-Talapady toll gate here allegedly pulled up their car for non-payment of the toll and damaged its front glass.

The woman, Tazia, 21, a Valachil resident sustained injuries to her eye and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

The incident occurred on Thursday even when Tazia along with her husband Sadaqat and other family members was travelling towards Valachil from Sajipa on BC Road. 

A complaint has been registered with Bantwala police.
