Traffic comes to standstill after gas tanker topples on Shiradi Ghat

 

Uppinangadi: Traffic on National Highway 75 came to a halt after a gas-tanker topled near second turn on Shiradi Ghat.

The incident occurred at 10.30 am when the tanker, that was headed towards Bengaluru from Mangaluru is said to have overturned while negotiating a turn.

According to reports, traffic on the Shiradi ghat stretch has been stopped and is likely to resume at night.
