Trucks to stop operations in support of demands from July 20

Bengaluru: Trucks will suspend operations in the state from Friday July 20 morning, as All India Motor Transport Congress has called for a strike. The truck proprietors have been demanding exclusion from toll charges after and to bring cost of diesel in addition to other things.

The strike is probably going to influence transportation of goods and vegetables bringing about shortage. 

Lorry Transport Association head, Shanmugappa, said that no lorry will move about in Karnataka from Friday. He noticed that the discussions union transport minister, Nitin Gadkari, had with the delegates of the Transport Congress on Thursday has failed. Along these lines, the association has chosen to proceed with its decision to suspend operations from Friday, he clarified.
