Twelve child labour cases reported in Shimoga last year

Shivamogga: Deputy commissioner M Lokesh on June 1 informed that the danger of child labor is as yet continuing in Shivamogga. Last year, 12 instances of child labor have come to light here and the proprietors of these establishment have been booked under the law. 

Talking at a meeting called for preparations for World Day Against Child Labor, the DC said that the children working in the district should to be found and rehabilitated with the goal that they could be brought into the standard society.
