Two Tumkur Natives Washed Away in Sea Near Mangaluru; One Dies, Another Missing

Tumkur/Ullal: One out of two Tumkur natives went missing while another drowned in the sea at Mogaraveerapatna near Ullal on Wednesday morning after the duo washed away in the sea. The victims have been identified as Ayaz and Shahrukh, residents of Sira in Tumkur district.

A group of tourists reached at Mangaluru from Tumkur on June 27. On Wednesday morning, they were on their visit to Mogaraveerapatna beach. Three out of 10 member group moved into waters and unexpectedly the trio washed away by strong waves. One out of the three was managed to narrowly escape from the waves. However, out of remaining two, dead body of one person retried while rescue teams searching for another person who went missing after the incident.
