Udupi: 40 new COVID-19 cases detected in 24 hours

Udupi: After seeing a decline in the number of COVID-19 cases, the district witnessed a rise in the past 24 hours with 40 new cases.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the district has now increased to 1,179. Of these, 1051 have recovered and discharged.

Presently, there are 126 active cases in the district.

So far 14,233 samples have been collected in the district. Of these 1,179 have tested positive and 12,788 negative. 266 samples reports are pending.
