Udupi: Another found dead at the same lodge where Santhosh's body was found

Udupi: In a suspected suicide case, the lifeless body of a man was found at a lodge in Udupi on Tuesday, April 19.

The deceased has been identified as Sharan Raj (31) from Konaje near Mangaluru. It is gathered that Sharan worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

The reason for the extreme step was not immediately known.

Incidentally, the body was found in the same lodge where Belagavi-based civil contractor Santhosh Patil was found dead on April 12.

After Santhosh’s death at Shambhavi Lodge in Udupi made the headlines, its management had decided to rebrand the hotel to avoid disrepute. However, another suicide in a week’s time has made the lodge the talk of the town.
