Udupi: Art teacher suffers heart attack during school hours; passes away

Udupi: An art teacher at a private school here suffered a massive heart attack during work hours on Friday and passed away on way to the hospital.

The teacher identified as Anand G Gandhad (44) was working at an English medium School in Udupi.

According to reports, Anand complained of chest pains during the lunch break. He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital. He was later referred to another private hospital in Manipal, where he was declared dead.

Anand is survived by his wife and child.
