Udupi: Bengaluru CCB Police detain Chaitra Kundapura on cheating allegations

Udupi: Bengaluru CCB police have taken Hindu activist Chaitra Kundapura and several others in Udupi into custody on Tuesday night in relation to a cheating case.

She and her accomplices are alleged to have cheated a businessman of crores of rupees.

Govinda Babu Pujari, a businessman from Byndoor, had lodged a complaint at the Bandepalya Police Station in Bengaluru against 8 people including Chaitra, alleging that they had taken money promising to get him a BJP ticket to contest from the Byndoor Assembly constituency.
