Udupi: Fire erupts at shop

Udupi: A fire broke out at Xerox shop on Poornaprajna College road here on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred at Samparka Xerox Shop located on the ground floor of Nanda Commercial Complex.

Locals noticed the smoke billowing from the store and notified the fire department. Meanwhile the fire spread to the upper floor of the complex.

The extent of loss due to the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Four to five fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
