Udupi: IT raids at prestigious jewellery showroom

Udupi: Income tax sleuths conducted a raid at a prestigious jewellery showroom in Udupi on Tuesday morning.

The gold showroom has several outlets in Dakshina Kannada as well as in other districts.

Simultaneous raids are being conducted since today morning at various places including Udupi, Karkala, Kundapur, Puttur, Padubidri, and Brahmavar.

It is gathered that a team of officers arrived in 7 to 8 vehicles to conduct the raids. The officials are scrutinizing the documents.
