Presiding over a preparatory meeting held at the District Administration Office, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to ensure all necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the games.
The week-long event will feature over 13 sports disciplines at the District Stadium and the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Sports Complex, with more than 3,500 athletes expected to participate.
Arrangements for accommodation, food, and other essential facilities for athletes, officials, and referees were discussed. The opening ceremony is likely to see the presence of the Chief Minister and other dignitaries.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to prepare the grounds to meet the requirements of the games and to ensure no inconvenience to athletes.
Committees and volunteers will be appointed to maintain discipline and coordinate efforts among departments for the seamless execution of the event.
