Udupi: Man attempts suicide by self-immolation

Udupi: A man attempted suicide by setting himself on fire near the MGM College’s ground here on the night of Saturday, January 2.

The incident took place at a deserted area near the grounds.

Locals noticed the man, who was in serious condition as most of his body was burned and rushed him to a hospital after informing the police.
