Udupi: MLA Lalaji Mendon inspects damages from sea erosion at Polipu, Muloor

Kaup: MLA Lalaji Mendon visited Muloor and Polipu to inspect the severe sea erosion that has affected these places.

He said that he will request the government to establish a permanent barrier in these areas and ordered the authorities to soon start work on the temporary barrier.

The sea has eroded many parts of the ground of houses a gym near the sea.

Port Department engineer Udaya Kumar, Kaup town council Chief Executive Venkatesh Navda and locals were present during the inspection.
