Ullal: 20-year-old man arrested for sexually harassing minor

Ullal: A man was detained by the city police on Sunday, September 12 for allegedly sexually harassing a five-year-old girl.

The accused is arrested under POCSO act is identified as Arif Pasha (30) hailing from Kalasipalya, Bengaluru. He is currently residing at Kalkatta.

The incident was reported near Natekal.

Reportedly, Pasha who knew the girl’s father had assured the girl of giving her some eatables and took the girl to an isolated area. She ran out of fear from the place and cried for help.

When activist couple Yashu Pakala from Talapady, who were traveling on a bike, noticed the girl crying for help and questioned her. The girl then narrated her ordeal.

The couple then caught the accused with the help of locals and handed him over to the police.
