Ullal: 4 arrested for transporting drugs

Ullal: Police nabbed 4 persons for transporting drugs in a car near Tadugoli in Naringana village.

The accused have been identified as Moidin Hafeez (36) and Mohammad Siraj (43) of Naringana village, Iqbal (30) of Adyar Katte-Valachchil, Mohammad Aziz (33) of Ashoknagar-Kodikal.

Konaje police said that they seized MDMA and ganja worth Rs 2 lakhs from the accused.

Police said the accused were transporting the narcotics from Bengaluru to Naringana.

Acting on credible information, a team led-by Konaje PSI Sharanappa, on Saturday night, stopped the Maruti Alto car the accused were travelling in and recovered the drugs stashed in the vehicle.
