On Friday, A.B. postal workers group general secretary Mahadevayya gave call for Sanchar Bhavan Chalo programme at Delhi. The mail distribution service at various locations has halted. Many representatives of the people have supported this protest.
A.B.Rural postal workers group district president Basava Billava and Secretary Santosh Madhyastha have reflected unhappiness on MP Shobha Karandlaje failing to visit the location in Udupi city where the postal workers are carrying their strike.

As the schools have begun, large amount of student scholarship have accumulated due to lack of distribution. Since May 21st, around 3,000 mail bags have remained undistributed at the railway mail service (RMS) Mangaluru division, informed sources from the department.
“According to the Supreme Court’s judgment, salary should not be given when strike is maintained. Now, due to the 11 days of strike, lakhs of pieces of mail have remained undistributed. Who is going to distribute this in the future? How can we work when we will not accept our salaries?” said workers group Secretary Santosh Madhyastha.
