Kasaragod: Notorious rowdy Asghar Ali who is involved in nine cases, including two murder cases has been arrested by the police. The accused fled to Dubai on a fake passport in 2007.
The police had earlier received definite information regarding the duplicate passport and that he has come back to India and is hiding somewhere in Uppala near here. A police team including police inspector Kankanady Jagadeesh and sub inspector Shyamsundar arrested the accused.
The police have also arrested Nawaz and Rasheed who gave Asghar the fake passport and will be investigate about Asghar Ali's activities in Dubai during his stay there. The police are also trying to ascertain if the presence of any duplicate passport racket as well. .
