US rapper gets ₹175 crore pink diamond implanted into forehead

American rapper Symere Bysil Woods, known professionally as Lil Uzi Vert, has implanted a $24-million (around ₹175 crore) pink diamond into his forehead.

He first revealed his plans for the face diamond in January when he said he’s been paying for a pink diamond from celebrity jeweller Elliot Eliantte for years.

Uzi, whose real name is Symere Woods, then uploaded a video to Instagram of the new piercing on Wednesday with the caption, “Beauty is pain.”

In a tweet he said “I’ve been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now. This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face.”
