Vijayapura: COVID-19 death toll crosses 100; total cases reach 5731

Vijayapura: The number of COVID-19 infected people in ‘Basava Nadu’ Vijayapura district has crossed the boundary on Sunday.

In the COVID-19 bulletin released by the district administration on Sunday, 4 COVID-19 deaths along with 127 new cases were reported on August 30.

With this, the total COVID-19 deaths in the district have risen 103.

Meanwhile, 196 people have recovered from the virus raising the total number of recovered people to 5,731.
