Viral video: ‘Goosebumps’ moment when ‘Jana Gana Mana’ resonated during Ind vs Pak T20 World Cup

Indian national anthem “Jana Gana Mana” evokes a sense of patriotism and pride in every Indian while being sung or played. If the occasion is cricket and that too a match with arch-rivals Pakistan, the patriotism meter skyrockets.

A similar scene was witnessed in India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match that was played on Sunday, October 24 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

The clip shared on Twitter by Mumbai Police with the caption, “The country and anthem we all rise up for”, has gone viral.

Around 90,000 Indians were seen waving the Indian tricolour and singing the national anthem.

It was a ‘goosebumps’ moment for not only Indian on the ground but also millions and billions of Indians across the globe watching the match.
