Vittal: Heavy rains continue to wreak havoc; inundates low-lying areas

Vittal: Heavy rain resulted in the flooding of low-lying areas across Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday, June 30.

While 3-4 houses in Vittal are already inundated, several houses in Addada keri, vidya nagar are facing the threat of floods.

Also, the sewage pipelines were damaged during the road works which has resulted in sewage water entering nearby shops and houses.

The Met department has issued an orange alert till Friday and a yellow alert till Ju,y 4.
