Vivo IPL Player Auction 2020: 338 players to go under hammer

Kolkata: As another edition of the Indian Premier League is around the corner, here is a sneak peek into the list of the slots available in each team and the fund remaining to spend on the table.

All the eight teams have a total of 207.65 crores remaining in their purse. While Chennai Super Kings have only 5 slots available, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals have 11 each.

Out of a total of 997 players registered for the 2020 VIVO IPL Player Auction, 338 were shortlisted as requested by the 8 IPL franchises keeping in mind the top performers in the domestic and international circuit.

A total of 190 Indian players, 145 overseas players & 3 players from Associate Nations have been added to the list.

The auction will be held in Kolkata on December 19 and Hugh Edmeades will be the auctioneer for the event.
