Kartik, who has four films to his credit, shot to fame with his debut in “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” in 2011.
The five-minute monologue in the comic caper, where his character Rajat goes on a rant about being trapped in a relationship, was an instant rage among youth.

His next releases “Akaash Vani” and Subhash Ghai’s “Kaanchi: The Unbreakable” tanked at the box office. He bounced back with “Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2”.

“I want to be known as a commercial hero. I have been working on my craft and have proved myself with all the films I have done so far. People are appreciating my work and it feels good when people like my work,” Aaryan told PTI.

“All I need is more hit films as an actor. I want to be a commercially viable actor. I want that the distributors and producers should earn the money, then only you become a bankable actor,” he says.
Kartik says he wants to strike a balance between the commercial viability of a project and good content.

“I want to do content-oriented plus commercial films. I want to be known as an actor and a viable hero,” he says. The actor is currently awaiting the release of “Guest Iin London”, also featuring Paresh Rawal, Tanvi Azmi and Kriti Kharbanda. Set to release this Friday, the film is directed by Ashwni Dhir.
