War in Israel: State govt sets up helplines for Kannadigas in distress

Bengaluru: Karnataka government has set up helplines for Kannadigars in distress in war-torn Israel.

“The current situation in Israel is very concerning. We advocate peace & harmony everywhere for the benefit of humanity. In view of current situation in Israel, we are closely working with @MEAIndia towards ensuring safety of our citizens,” the Chief Minister wrote on X.

“In cases of any citizens of India hailing from Karnataka in Israel requiring assistance, reach out to Karnataka State Emergency Operation Centre Helpline numbers: 08022340676, 08022253707. Also,@MEAIndia Helpline number: +97235226748,” he further added.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs has asked the Indians in need of help to contact +97235226748 or write to telaviv@mea.gov.in.
