Take action against HRD minister

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi bowed down before Constitution soon after being elected as the leader of the NDA which is a good sign. But at the same time HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has mentioned two date of births and also led to controversy for having two fake degrees from the University of Sri Lanka. So we demand PM Modi to take necessary action against HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal,” said the VP.

“Maharashtra’s IAS officer Nidhi Chaudhary has tweeted on Mahatma Gandhi and praised his assassination. But till now, Maharastra government has not taken any action against her. In the coming days, pictures of Mahatma Gandhi may vanish. Now we are in a situation where Gandhi’s killer is being glorified. We demand the suspension of Nidhi Chaudhary and she should be inquired so that a lesson is learnt by everyone,” he demanded.

“In the recent concluded local body elections, Congress bagged 509 seats, JD(S) got 174 seats and BJP got only 330 seats. In a ward named Sadayapura in Bengaluru, Congress candidate got over 7,000 votes and a rebel candidate got over 4,000 votes which totals up to 11,000 votes. But in the same ward during the Lok Sabha elections, BJP got 12,000 votes. How did the impact of Lok Sabha elections change within five days in local body elections?” he questioned

Water shortage

“Dakshina Kannada is facing severe water shortage. It is the duty of MLAs to address water scarcity issue in the district instead of criticising. They should work for the overall development of the district,” advised Prof Radhakrishna.
