She took to her Twitter account to open up against Kashyap and tagged the office of the Prime Minister of India in her tweet. “@anuragkashyap72 has forced himself on me and extremely badly. @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji, kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. Pls help!,”
She claimed that the director forced himself upon her when she was seeking a film job in 2014. While Kashyap has denied the allegations and labelled it as ‘baseless’, Ghosh has hit back to claim that those doubting her intentions are wrong. Payal Ghosh

Before her Bollywood debut, she acted in several South Indian films including Telugu and Kannada films Prayanam, Varshadhaare and Mr Rascal’.
