Speaking at the inauguration of the Prajadhwani-2 Jana Samavesha event in Banhatti on Saturday, Siddaramaiah condemned the Center’s negligence in providing adequate relief funds despite legal battles reaching the Supreme Court. “We will launch a large scale protest in front of the Gandhi statue in Bengaluru,” he added.

“Why didn’t Modi give a single penny to the state until the Supreme Court intervened?” questioned Siddaramaiah, criticizing the BJP government at the Centre.

Furthermore, Siddaramaiah accused the BJP of failing to fulfill promises made over the past decade. He cited the government’s failure to address issues such as farmer suicides, unemployment, and rising fuel prices.

Siddaramaiah also urged voters to support Congress candidate Samyukta Shivanand Patil in the Bagalkot Lok Sabha constituency. He criticized the incumbent BJP MP, P. C. Gaddigoudar, for his alleged  failure to address crucial issues affecting the region.
