The list would not be made accessible to the public or to employers. Spain’s Health Minister, Salvador Illa said Covid-19 vaccinations would not be made compulsory, and stressed that the information in the register would not be made public, in line with Spain’s data protection laws.
Spain’s Medicines Agency head said it’ll be used “to understand the causes behind declining the vaccination…doubt or rejection”. The register will also be proof that there’s no error in the system and the persons were offered the vaccine
According to a recent poll, the number of Spanish citizens who have said they will not take the vaccine has fallen to 28% from 47% in November.
