Coffee is the most popular drink world wide. Most of the  people drink coffee in the morning on an empty stomach. Although, it makes you feel less tired and keeps you awake, it can also harm your health

First thing is that it results in digestive problems as our stomachs contain hydrochloric acid which helps to efficiently digest food and Drinking coffee on an empty stomach increases acidity, this can quickly result in digestive problems.

It also decreases brain’s ability to  produce serotonin which is responsible for feelings of calmess and happiness.

It raises stress hormone levels as it stimulates cortisol which helps regulate    metabolism and blood sugar levels. Usually cortisol levels peak around the time you wake up and drinking coffee can increase cortisol level which is dangerous.

It cam cause dehydration and also leads to nutritional deficiencies. Also, Drinking too much coffee may cause anxiety, restlessness, migraines, and poor sleep.
