Bommai is scheduled to visit New Delhi tomorrow on an invite from Union Home Ministry to discuss the border dispute with Maharashtra.

A delegation of Karnataka and Maharashtra will hold talks with Union Home Minister Amit Shah tomorrow (December 14) evening regarding the border dispute. The central government reportedly aims to prevent the dispute from escalating before the Karnataka Assembly elections.

After this meeting,  CM Bommai is expected to informally talk to Amit Shah about cabinet expansion. On a question about the topic, Bommai said, the border dispute will be the prime issue, but added that he will go with full preparation about the cabinet expansion. “I will discuss it (cabinet expansion) if the Home Minister mentions it,” he added.
