Inaugurating the BJP State Office Bearers’ Meet held at a private hotel here, he said: “Our aim is to win 224 seats in the Assembly election coming in two years. For this purpose, we are starting a ‘Sankalpa Yatra’ from Mysuru.”

“Party’s office bearers’ meeting will be held once a fortnight, and the executive meeting will be held once a month. Projects and schemes implemented by the Central and State governments will be delivered to the people,” he added.

“Instead of those who only deliver criticisms, we will be achieving power on the basis of ‘development mantra,’ and organizational strength. We are ready for the gram panchayat, taluk panchayat and the Zilla panchayat elections,” he said.

Speaking at the occasion, Party’s national General Secretary CT Ravi said that their party is a cadre-based party and not a leader-based party. Only in the BJP, it is possible for ordinary activists to become leaders and he himself is an example of that.
