Woman chops off boyfriend's thumb finger

Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly chopped off her boy friend’s thumb finger after a quarrel on Monday in Badagabellur near here.

It has been reported that, the victim, Janardhan Madivala (63) was into a relationship with Seetha (35) for the past several years after his wife expired.

On Monday, Janardhan and Seetha quarreled over some issue. Post this, Seetha cut his thumb with sharp object.

Janardhan is undergoing treatment at Wenlock District Hospital.

A case has been registered at the Bantwal rural police station.
