Woman consumes 15 pills for headache, dies

Bengaluru: A 45-year-old woman died in Victoria Hospital on Monday after overdosing on tablets prescribed for her headache.

On Saturday, the deceased Anusuyamma consumed 15 tablets after experiencing severe bouts of headache and fell unconscious. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later shifted to Victoria Hospital.

It is gathered that Anusuyamma was taking medication for her headache for some years now.

Based on her husband’s statement, the police registered a case of unnatural death
