The much-anticipated “Power Parba 25,” an expo aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs, is set to take place from February 7 to February 9 at the Christian High School Grounds near Mission Compound in Udupi. Organized by Power (Platform of Women Entrepreneurs), a non-profit organization supporting ambitious women engaged in home-based and family businesses, preparations are in full swing, and prominent guests are being invited for the event.

Supported by the Central Government’s PMS Scheme of MSME, the expo will feature 150+ stalls exclusively for women entrepreneurs. Registered participants will be provided individual stalls equipped for showcasing and selling their products. Accommodation facilities will also be arranged for participants if needed.

The venue will include arrangements for security, drinking water, restrooms, parking, and a bus stop. Additionally, local transport will ensure seamless connectivity to and from various parts of the district.

The event aims to provide a platform for women entrepreneurs to learn, connect, and grow collectively. By bringing together women from different sectors, Power Parba strives to nurture their skills and help turn their dreams into reality. The organization’s mission is to strengthen women economically and foster a sense of unity among entrepreneurs.

The primary goals of the event include:

  • Offering a promotional platform for women entrepreneurs to exhibit and sell their products.
  • Uniting women from urban and rural areas under one roof.
  • Facilitating business relationships between urban and rural women entrepreneurs.
  • Introducing customers to the talents and skills of women entrepreneurs.
  • Providing market insights, management strategies, and technical knowledge.
  • Connecting entrepreneurs with customers to foster business growth.

The expo will showcase a wide variety of stalls featuring jewelry, fashion, home decor, food items, beauty products, ready-made garments, artwork, handicrafts, and more.

With over 20,000 visitors expected, only a few stalls remain available. Entrepreneurs from the manufacturing and service sectors can benefit from subsidies of up to 80% on stall rental for general category participants and 100% for SC/ST, women, NER, and PH categories under the MSME scheme.

For registrations and more information, contact Supriya Kamath (Chairman of Stall Registration) at 9980152848 or Suguna Shankar Suvarna (Coordinator) at 9900253365.

This is a golden opportunity for women entrepreneurs to showcase their talents, strengthen their businesses, and achieve economic independence. Don’t miss out!
