World Famous Mysuru Dasara Fest to Begin from September 21

Mysuru: World famous Dasara festival is scheduled to inaugurate on September 21 and conclude on September 30 with Jambu Savari and other traditional celebrations, said Mysuru District Incharge Minister Dr HC Mahadevappa speaking to media persons after a preliminary meeting on the festival with the district administration here on Tuesday.

A meeting presided by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would be held in Bengaluru on July 18 or 19 to discuss arrangements to be taken by the government to celebrate Mysuru Dasara, minister said.
