“I had come home just recently. I never could have imagined something like this could happen,” says Mohith (23), bitterly weeping the loss of his entire family. Only he remains.
Mohan is currently put up at his uncle’s place in Sullia after getting the information about the incident. Relative and friends are giving their best support to help him through this dark period.
Mohith’s father Basappa, a Group D worker at Sullia Government Hospital and elder sister Monisha’s mortal remains have been recovered and were laid to rest after the conducting post mortem at the Kerpala crematorium at Sullia on Sunday.

Mohith work’s for Selco Solar company at it Tiptur branch and his job is the sole reason he is alive as at the time of the incident he was not at home.
The whereabouts of Mohith’s mother Gauramma, who was an Asha worker and her niece Manjula, who was enrolled to the Madenadu High School at Jodupala three months ago, remain unknown. National Disaster response Force (NDRF) personnel are currently searching for them.
Mohith’s deceased sister Monisha (23) has done her MCA in Mysuru and had returned home some time back after completion of her internship in Bengaluru. Her body was traced on Saturday in a drain a little away from their home.
