Youth who fell into a pit, rescued

Hubbali: A man fell into a pit here on Thursday.

It has been reported that, a deep pit was dug for erecting a concrete column near Desai Circle here on Thursday night. When the victim was walking by this area, he accidentally fell into the pit. Luckily, he was rescued by local authorities.

The victim has been identified as Abdul Maniyar. 

A passerby seeing the incident quickly called for help and Maniyar was brought up in about 15 minutes.

Doctors said Maniyar is fine and is admitted in the emergency ward for a routine check-up.

A case has been registered in this regard.
