The accused were selling jewelry in Bengaluru city market and other areas for the last 8 to 9 months and the police had information on their network. The railway police sources said that, the accused used to bring 14 carat gold jewelry from Tamil Nadu to handover the same in Bengaluru to jewelry merchants.
