In his press statement, he said, “To date, estimated 31,74,880 vaccine doses have been administered to cattle. We are aiming to achieve the target of 84,51740. The vaccination drive covers every district, taluk, and veterinary hospital. The disease can be brought under control by administering vaccine doses once in six months. I request all the farmers to partake in it and administer the dose to all those cattle who are above four months.”.
“The vaccines are free of cost and the drive is implemented at the national level. The vaccination drive is initiated under the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) from November 7 to December 7. This is a viral disease that will lead to health complications for cattle. Hence, I request all the farmers to voluntarily take part in the vaccination drive”, he added.
