B'luru: Exodus begins over COVID-19 panic; highways jammed

Bengaluru: COVID-19 cases are increasing in the city and the fear of an impending lockdown has made residents of the city to return to their hometowns. As a result, there is heavy traffic on the highways around the city. Some of the people are also carrying their household items after emptying their houses, leaving the city permanentely. Experts are of the opinion that community transmission of the novel coronavirus has started in the city. In this view, it is being reported that, the Chief Minister has decided to implement a lockdown in the city. The fear of lockdown is causing many to leave the city as another lockdown will cause immense trouble to the city's residents.
