Summers for the students of MIC have been all about Namma Angadi. This year though, the students are seen gearing themselves for a new approach – an online Namma Angadi.
With the second wave of COVID-19 spreading across India, quick-thinking students decided on shifting the much anticipated event on online platforms.
“We understand the importance of the event for not only excited customers but also for the people of Namma Bhoomi. Since the event is highly sentimental for many of us, we first decided to have an offline event with restrictions. But with cases rapidly spreading, we stepped back and changed our plan. Luckily for us, technology and the online medium have been a blessing. Not only have we shifted Namma Angadi online but have decided to take it across India! We’ve built a hassle free system without compromising on the sentimental value of Namma Angadi”, says Nyrika Guha Roy, Project Manager of the event.
