Emphasis to beautification

There was an intention to develop the railway station in the country in the field of tourism. The central railway board had decided to start a new scheme through which ‘beauty competition’ would be held along with beautifying the stations through the deft workmanship of artists. But, since the response was not on par with the expectation, the board decided to let go of the competition and instead only concentrate on beautification of the railway stations. Accordingly, the Southern Railways Phalghat Division has decided to beautify the stations coming within its jurisdiction.
