Conspiracy to murder movie producer Umapathy: Investigation reveals Bombay Ravi’s Mangaluru connection

Bengaluru: Recently, Bengaluru Police arrested seven rowdies for formulating plans to murder several VVIPs including the producer of “Roberrt” movie, Umapathy. According to the police, the rowdies were also planning to murder another producer by name Deepak, and a few other rowdies .

The accused list also includes the name of a popular rowdy sheeter, Bombay Ravi. The recent police investigation has revealed Bombay Ravi’s connection with Mangaluru.

It is said that in 2011, Bombay Ravi was arrested in a case and was put in Ballari Jail where he met rowdy sheeters Kiran Shetty and Riyaaz who were arrested by cops for their connection with a Mangaluru case. They were released together.

Later, Bombay Ravi got in touch with the rowdies of Mangaluru and joined Chota Shakeel’s team and slowly moved towards Bengaluru.

However, in 2012, CCB police officials arrested Bombay Ravi for planning the murder of several VVIPs on the orders of Mangaluru’s Rowdy sheeter Rashid Malari. It was then revealed that Bombay Ravi was a close aide of Rowdy sheeter Chota Shakeel
