The 2009-batch IAS officer moved the Bengaluru seat of the CAT after the government on Wednesday, issued a request transferring her as the Commissioner, Department of Employment and Training. This is the second time Rohini’s transfer has hit a detour. Her prior transfer was “put on hold” by the Election Commission of India as she was then occupied with the amendment of appointive rolls.
Advocate General A S Ponnanna submitted before the CAT that Rohini won’t be “evacuated” from the post of Hassan deputy commissioner till March 13. The CAT has requested that the government to file an objection before March 12.
