Bangalore: Higher Education Minister, Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan visited two CET examination centres in the city on Thursday, July 30 and reviewed all the precautions taken in the wake of COVID-19.
He visited MES College, Malleswaram, and Composite PU College in Seshadripuram and inspected the precautions taken by the officials including the system of sanitizer and thermometer.
The DCM praised the measures taken by the Transport, Health, Police, and Higher Education Departments.
He also interacted with the students and asked about any problem to come to the examination center from home, transportation arrangements, and guidance by the officials on examination centers.

“We have taken strict measures in all the test centres as per the High Court order. In one room 24 students are seated and the students who tested positive are provided with complete separate rooms. There is no defect in the arrangements made by the Government.” Deputy CM told the reporters here.
“1,94,356 students are appearing for the examination in 497 centre in the state. In Bengaluru, 40,200 students are appearing for the exam in 83 centres. Overall, there are 40 students who have come with Covid-19 positive, they were brought in to centres in the ambulance and the officials ensure their safe return as well. 30,000 students have changed the examination centre in the wake of the COVID-19,” he added.
